All our caregivers have a nursing degree, are CPR/First Aid certified and specifically trained to help and educate in the areas of diapering, cord care, bathing, hygiene, safety, reading baby’s cues, breastfeeding, and establishing healthy sleep habits with infants.

Our nurses are also trained to care for premature babies, twins, and multiples. We provide cover day and night, seven days a week. Our team works on a shift pattern, ensuring they are available at a time that suits your family’s needs. The childcare nurse can also help you with baby proofing, setting up and organizing your nursery before the arrival of bub as a complimentary service once a booking has been made.

General Responsibilities of a Private Home Nurse:

  • Provide hands on care and

  • Ensure safe, hygienic environment
    inside and outside home
  • Provide sleep support, forming

  • Educate parents on safe sleep
    practices
  • Breastfeeding support, & assistance
    with bottle-feeding, burping
  • Sterilize bottles & help prepare feeds
  • Help establish routine based on
    your family’s needs
  • Bathing, diapering, massage, and
    tummy time
  • Play with and entertain child
  • Sanitize toys and play equipment
  • Maintain and look after baby’s
    nursery and belongings
  • Help with weaning, introducing
    solids, and feeding the littles
  • Potty training
  • Enlighten parents about
    developmental changes of the child
  • Ensure that children have adequate
    physical activity, rest, and intellectual
    stimulation
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of
    children and support their social
    development
  • Oversee children’s activities and
    arrange age-appropriate activities such
    as games, crafts, reading and outings
  • Take children to and from school
    and activities if required
  • Keep record of daily activities and
    health information for each child
