The postpartum period is described as the first 6 weeks after giving birth. This can be a difficult time for mothers as the body adjusts to all the hormonal changes that occur after birth, while still recovering from delivery. We make it a point to understand what mothers need and provide emotional support with individualized care. Our postnatal visits offer families expert care for both mama and baby. All the questions you may have as new parents will also be addressed by your caregiver. Your rest and recovery is of paramount importance for you to have a positive and happy time with your baby.
Restful sleep and recuperation are so important for mothers in order to be present for their child during the day. With proper understanding of your child’s needs, and the use of some of our gentle and straightforward sleep techniques, the whole family will hopefully be sleeping better.
The childcare professional will conduct a home visit to assess the situation and accordingly provide simple and caring sleep advice with parents’ and babies’ emotional, and attachment needs in mind. Our philosophy of sleep learning is guided by a non-judgmental approach and tailored to each individual family’s needs, with your personal parenting ideals in mind.
Our Night Nurses can also support you through the night. They are not only responsible for watching your baby but also manage the night feedings – whether you are breastfeeding, pumping, or formula feeding. They bring the baby to mom for breastfeeding, taking them back to burp and put them back to sleep. Or they set up and clean the breast pump making it quick and easy for you. Or they prepare formula to feed the baby when they are hungry at night without having to disturb your sleep. Rest assured, both baby and you can get some restful sleep.
We also provide help with night weaning. The night nurse can assist you in the comfort of your home guiding you through the process.
Our newborn basics training is for anyone who will be taking immediate care of baby, be it mommy, daddy, or a grandparent (who perhaps needs a refresher course!). The program consists of practical lessons, tips, and demonstrations on how to properly care for and handle a newborn baby. Our Childcare Specialist will coach you in the comfort of your home, equipping you with the knowledge you need to care for your child with confidence.

Introducing food to your baby is exciting but can also feel daunting! It was hard enough deciding between us what to eat, and now we have to meal plan for this tiny little human too? Hah!
How to feed your baby is a personal decision and will be viewed differently in different cultures. As said by the renowned Solid Starts team – “Food is deeply cultural. How babies are fed in one country will contrast with the practices in another country. As a parent or caregiver, the most important thing you can do is to make an informed decision that feels right for you and your family.”
